MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE POLICY

The City Commission has established a Minority Business Enterprise (M.B.E) Utilization Plan, Resolution No. O1R-1377, (Adopted August 6, 2001), whereby the city will assist in the development of opportunities for M.B.E.'s through the use of commodities, goods and services obtainable from M.B.E.'s in conjunction with the award of all contracts.

Minority vendors interested in having their companies designated as Certified Minority Business Enterprises must complete an Application for Minority Business Enterprise Certification. Only businesses domiciled in Florida are eligible. The Office of Supplier Diversity can provide you with additional information on other eligibility requirements. Click on the button below to see if your company is eligible to become certified through the State of Florida, Office of Supplier Diversity.

For more information on Florida's M.B.E. program and its participants contact the Office of Supplier Diversity at 1-850-487-0915 or visit their website at MBE Certification
